This book is well written and has a wealth of historical background information leading up to the formulation of Brazilian Jiu Jiutsu.

This is a great book to read to get a very broad understanding of how the art of Ju Jitsu/ Jiu Jitsu has evolved and continues to grow and develop.

Alot of history about the origins of Jiu jitsu , which is very cool to learn.

I found this book to be a well written introduction the the wide span of techniques that are used in MMA.

Decent book BUT very basic.

The book is great for the history of jiujitsu and philosophies of fighting and stuff like that.
